On July 4, the Italian-Georgian Business Forum took place at the hotel "Holiday Inn” in Tblisi. OICE, along with the Italian Embassy in Tblisi and ICE (the Italian Trade Agency), supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Ministry of Economic Development, organized the business mission.

The aim was to promote among Italian engineering and architecture companies joint ventures with Georgian partners within the opportunities offered by the EU cooperation, governmental programs and IFI's opportunities in the infrastructure sectors.

Francesco Ventura, OICE’s management board member, was ahead of the Italian  delegation together with  Ambassador of Italy in Georgia, Antonio Bartoli and Maurizio Ferri, Director ICE’s Baku office.

13 engineering and architectural companies participated to the mission. OICE and ACEG (Georgian Association of Engineering Companies) signed an MoU within their cooperation in the FIDIC’s framework in order to promote bilateral partnerships. B2Bs gave way to relevant agreements confirming the positive cooperation spirit between Georgian and Italian companies.
