On July 13th, the Italian Pavilion at Astana EXPO 2017 hosted the International Conference "Italian Engineering and Architecture Day", organized by OICE, in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in Astana and the ICE's Office with the support of the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Ministry for Economic Development.
The Conference comprised two sessions. The institutional session introduced by Gabriele Scicolone (OICE President), Stefano Ravagnan (Ambassador of Italy in Astana) and Savatore Parano (ICE's Director in Kazakhstan) saw the speeches of Yeraly Togzhanov, President of Mangghystau Region, Salvatore D’Angelo from Italian Ministry for Environment, Land and Sea, Sabyr Assylbekov of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhandos Amanbayev, Director of Kazakhstan National Association of Professional Engineers and Consultants - KNAPEC, Francesco Ventura, Coordinator of OICE WG on Environment and Smart Cities and Valter Macchi, OICE Regional Representative (Lazio)
The following session saw the presentation of the OICE associated companies that have participated also to the B2B afternoon session organized by OICE in cooperation with the Kazakh Association KNAPEC.
