Gabriele Scicolone OICE’s new President

Elected on 27 January 2016 by the Italian Association of Engineering and Architecture companies' General Assembly, Gabriele Scicolone takesover OICE's Presidency from Patrizia Lotti for a three year term (2016-2018).

Member of OICE's Board since 2014, he has been actively involved in OICE's activities since 2014.

Born in Rome, he graduated in mechanical engineering at Rome's La Sapienza University. He is 44 year old and is currently the CEO of Artelia Group Italy where he has worked for the last fifteen years.

In Artelia, Gabriele Scicolone supervised construction projects in the oil & gas field and real estate strategies. Dealing with international customers and investors he has strongly contributed to the positioning of Artelia Group in Italy.

Gabriele Scicolone assumes OICE's Presidency well aware of the industry's major challenges and with exceptional international contacts.

His strategy as President will focus on improving the role of organized engineering in the project's cycle. The current revision of the National Procurement Code will be in his spotlight.

At international level his program aims at increasing the presence of Italian engineering companies in international strategic markets.

"Italian engineers are very much appreciated around the world. We will make all our efforts in order to make our industry known, appreciated and competitive on international markets" Scicolone said during his speech at the Assembly adding that "we will promote Institutional support and international cooperation for Italian engineering companies operating through out the world".
