OICE, along with ICE (the Italian Trade Agency) and ANCE (the Association of Italian Constructors), supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the Ministry of Economic Development and the Italian Embassy in Bucharest, organized a business Mission in Romania on July 9th 2015 entitled “Italy & Romania: Building Together”.
The aim was to promote among Italian engineering and construction companies joint ventures with Romanian partners within the opportunities offered by the EU structural funds in the infrastructure sectors.
Paolo Gentiloni, Minister for Foreign Affairs was ahead of the Italian Delegation together with Riccardo Maria Monti, President of ICE, Massimo Rustico, head of the International Business Department within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Luca Gentile, Director ICE’s Bucharest office, Patrizia Lotti, President OICE, and Giuseppe Cafiero, Vice President of ANCE.
Victor Ponta, Prime Minister of Romania, along with Mihai Tudose, Minister of Economy and Eugen Orlando Teodorovici Minister of Finance greeted the Italian delegation.
150 engineering, construction and banking companies accompanied the Italian Governmental delegation. B2Bs gave way to positive agreements confirming the positive cooperation spirit between Romanian and Italian companies.
Other similar business trips are due in fall in Czech Republic and in Slovakia.
