Milan is ready to host, starting in May at the central "Indro Montanelli" Gardens (income from Corso Venezia and Bastioni di Porta Venezia), the first "La Casa del Ben-Essere©" -"Health and Well-Being at Home©". Designed by Paolo Bodega Architecture study, it consists of a living unit of 100 square meters, made of prefabricated construction that uses materials, technologies and solutions already on the market and aims to give a concrete evidence to the needs of contemporary living, in terms of prevention of diseases, of response to the need of healthy lifestyles and to the people desires' of feeling good.
The initiative is promoted and realized by leading Italian construction companies: Fumagalli Edilizia Industrializzata SpA based in Bulciago (Lecco), a company that operates at 360 degrees in the field of building, and GranitiFiandre and Iris Ceramica, proposing the new ACTIVE Clean Air & Antibacterial CeramicTM slabs, materials that guarantee antibacterial and anti-pollution qualities, layed down using ecological adhesives byTechnokolla SpA. The initiative is promoted under the aegis of the Municipality of Milan - Department of Health.
In addition to these main contributors, a pool of leading companies specialized in building and furnishing materials and technologies (Artemide, Braendli & C., BTicino, Domoticaeluce, Elam, Emmeti, Knauf, Oikos, Pramac, Sabic Innovative Plastics, Rattiflora, Savogi, Silent Gliss, Sipam, Sony, Technogym, Teuco Guzzini, Tisettanta, Tre P & Tre Più, Vanoncini) will complete the proposal.
In particular, the sophisticated home automation system installed in the home offers the possibility to integrate all these systems, mking it easier for the user, to manage, schedule and control, responding with dedicated connections to the needs of both able-bodied those "differently abled", allowing these last to reach a better "quality of life."
The House of Well- Being© is therefore a living housing unit in which the concepts of environmental quality, environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, technology, home automation, security, develop the comfort needed for a safe mental and physical health of the person.
