OICE's board of Directors gave unanimous approval for the appointment of Giovanni Grasso as new General Director of the Association.
Born in Messina in 1960, Political Science graduate, specialized Neuro-linguistics, Grasso has been, from April 1998 till December 2009, General Director of Confindustria Messina.
Previously, Giovanni Grasso has been partner of AV Consulting S.r.l. and Sales Manager of BMC, companies operating in the management and SME quality certification fields.
From 1989 till 1993 he was free lance consultant in programming and implementing lectures for effective communication tailored for insurance and financial companies.
From 1986 till 1992 he was regional manager for Finrete S.p.A., financial consulting company of Banco di Napoli.
He started as credit manager in Banco di Sicilia.
Presently he is member of the board of Directors of AICON S.p.A. a company specialized in luxury leisure engine boats rated on the Milan stock exchange - Indici FTSE it All-share Mid-Cap.
Giovanni Grasso, replaces Massimo Ajello who retired and will continue to supervise specific activities of the Association.
