Description:
SGI Studio Galli Ingegneria, a Leading Italian Engineering Consulting company, is looking for a Structural Engineer, preferentially with previous experience in design of tall buildings structures, for a consultancy assignment to be carried out in Malaysia.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the management of the structural and infrastructural design components for a new real estate development and the coordination with the architectural and mechanical design teams. His tasks will also include the production of engineering construction documents for the project.
The selected candidate will be expected to manage, coordinate and provide directions and instruction within the project team (based partially in Malaysia and partially in Italy) in order to carry out the structural and infrastructural design, in full coordination with the main Contractor (our client).
This position offers growth potential to motivated individuals with strong communication skills seeking a leadership role.
Required Skills:
Candidates must have an M.S. in Civil Engineering, a minimum of 10 years of experience in design and management of engineering projects with structural and infrastructural components. Previous international experience is a plus.
Experience must demonstrate a strong technical knowledge and the ability to organize and plan all phases of a design project as well as the capacity to manage and coordinate design teams and to liaise with the Client.
Candidates must be familiar with international design standards and specifications.
Project Management certification and experience is a plus. BIM design experience is also a plus.
Experience with standard office software packages (word processors, spreadsheets, and databases), and general structural analysis and design software is required.
