Procurement and Contract Support Expert

SGI is looking for a Procurement Specialist Water & Sanitation Infrastructure for an assignment concerning large water and wastewater infrastructure Projects in an international setting (FIDIC-based and/or World Bank conditions of contract).
The successful candidate shall be a graduated engineer with at least fifteen (15) years of experience in procurement and contract management, and certification of equivalent qualification as a Procurement Specialist, in particular in the field of water and sanitation.
He/she must have an in-depth understanding and command of FIDIC procurement operational practices and procedures related to project work, and should be able to demonstrate state-of-the-art knowledge of the concepts, principles and practices which govern international procurement, the contracting of consultant services, technical specifications in design, engineering and construction of facilities, etc
He/she shall be proficient in English, have good interpersonal and written communication skills as well as be computer literate.
