Engineering / Design / Checking Support Expert

SGI is looking for a Engineering / Design / Checking Support Expert for an assignment in the field of water supply and sanitation sector in Kurdistan Region, Iraq. The assignment requires experts long-term presence in the project area (at least two year).
The successful applicant shall have an advanced university degree in hydraulic / civil engineering, a minimum 15 years experience in the design & construction sector in the water sector (with a particular focus on planning and development of water supply and sewerage networks and treatment facilities). He/she is expected to have an extensive experience in preparation and review of detailed designs and tender documentation. The applicant shall also have an excellent track record of team leading and managing infrastructure projects financed by international organisations. He/she shall be proficient in English, have good interpersonal and written communication skills as well as be computer literate.
